The Curves of the Body:- The Curves of Life!!

One of my favourite words to describe the feminine is “curves”

There are many curves in life. There are the curves of a river, the curves of a body and the curveballs in the day to day.
I believe there is so much femininity in each one of these examples. Let’s start with the river. RIVER

“What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn’t have any doubt- it is sure to get where it is going, and it doesn’t want to go anywhere else.”
It’s flowing. It’s moving. It has trust and faith that its destination is going to be exactly where it’s supposed to be.

The feminine is the same way; she trusts, rests and remains beautiful in her own way. She is open to new possibilities and relaxes into the knowing that everything is going to work out.

The feminine isn’t obsessed with rigidity (neither is the masculine, by the way).
Rigidity is fear-based, not love-based. And considering the feminine is soft, that includes softness in the body. Breasts. Thighs. Booties.

A woman’s body is made for life giving, which is why we were created with extra padding to protect what we grow inside.
The endurance and health of a woman’s body is of the utmost importance to Mother Nature.

She wants to ensure that life is kept safe; therefore, a woman’s natural body may have more softness than what the media says we should have.
The curves of a body are beautiful, and dare I say, necessary for living a free-spirited feminine life.

Journaling Questions

1. What resistance, if any, do you have around your body’s physical curves?

2. It’s time to make a peace offering. Your gorgeous body has done so much to protect you and it’s about time you give her some love back. Write a promise to your body, explaining how you’re going to love her unconditionally moving forward. (It’s okay if you still feel resistance- write something anyways!)

3. How do you feel when life throws you a curveball? What emotions do you typically experience and for how long?

4. Write about a time recently where you had expectations for something and it didn’t go according to plan. What happened instead?

5. What spiritual practices are you going to do next time something like this happens so that your first instinct is to trust and not to worry?
