Usually after the honeymoon period of meeting each other’s ‘persona’, the corewounds begin to rise up and we meet each other’s ‘shadow’.
As the light of love grows within a relationship, it brings up whatever isn’t love.
We manifest situations to heal and confront these core wounds which we are usually unconscious and unaware of, or haven’t had the opportunity to deal with.
For this reason, relationships are our greatest sadhana (spiritual practice).
Often in relationships, couples will attract opposing core-wounds.
For examples a feminine with a strong Father Wound may attract a masculine with a strong Mother Wound
The Inner-Marriage (Inner-Union) begins with realising that the only actual person you are guaranteed to spend the rest of your life with is yourself.
If our primary relationship starts within, it means we don’t have to rely on another’s love or trust that someone else is going to provide for us.
It’s knowing that although our soul occupies a male or female body, we are in fact, both masculine and feminine.
How this manifests in relationship is the ridiculous expectations we place on our partners to hold the energy we are lacking.
“I cannot be present so you be present for me” (please be my Father), or
“I cannot nurture myself so you nurture me” (please be my Mother).
To feel both safe and free in relationships, we need both masculine and feminine energies dancing together.
A woman with healthy masculine allows, penetrates, listens, holds, centres, witnesses, protects and structures.
A man with healthy feminine receives, surrenders, speaks, supports, moves, expresses, nurtures and flows.
You need to ALIGN your Inner Masculine & Feminine, before seeking that so called “ideal relationship” outside of yourself!
It begins with YOU!
